2. Who this policy covers
- Website visitors: people who browse intuition.dev.
- Applicants: people who apply for a role through the website, including any resume they upload.
- Referrers and referred candidates: where someone uses the referral form to recommend another person.
- Subscribers and enquirers: people who join our mailing list or contact us.
- Business contacts: representatives of the organizations we work with.
3. What we collect and why
- Website usage and log data (IP address, device, pages viewed): to operate and secure the site.
- Language preference (a cookie and a value stored in your browser): to show the site in your language.
- Mailing list data (name, email): to send you the updates you signed up for.
- Application data (name, email, education, profile links, your answers — including any references or contacts you choose to share — and your resume): to assess your application.
- Referral data (the referrer’s contact details and the details they provide about the candidate): to operate our referral program — evaluate and contact the candidate, and administer the referral bonus.
- Business contact data (name, work email, role): to manage our commercial relationships.
4. Cookies
Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies — for example, remembering your language choice. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
5. Who we share data with
Service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Tally (application and referral forms), Loops (email delivery), Calendly (meeting scheduling), and Alibaba Cloud (delivery of media and language files).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for advertising.
6. International data transfers
Intuition is a US company; personal data is processed and stored in the United States and in the regions where our service providers operate. Where required for data collected from the EEA, UK, or other regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep data
- Contact messages and enquiries: while we handle your enquiry, then deleted.
- Application data: for the duration of the application process, and up to two years afterwards so we can consider you for future roles — deleted earlier on request.
- Referral data: while we evaluate the candidate and, if they are hired, as long as needed to administer the referral bonus.
- Mailing list data: until you unsubscribe.
- Business contact data: for the duration of the relationship plus statutory retention periods.
8. If someone referred you
If you were referred for a role, we received your details from the person who referred you — your name, contact details or profile links, and their description of how they know you and why they recommend you. We use them only to evaluate you for that role and to get in touch. You can contact us at any time to access or delete these details.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or object to how we use it — just email us. If you are in the EEA or UK, you have these rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, note that we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
