Software Engineer (Internal Tools)

About the Role

We are an AI-first company. We believe the cost of software is going to zero, so we don't buy SaaS — we build it. You will own the engineering side of the internal tooling stack that operations, finance, and the technical teams run on every day. That includes the LLM- and agent-driven automation layer that handles data preprocessing, SOP workflows, and the long tail of internal operations.

What You'll Do

• Build the internal tools the company runs on. Ops workflows, finance pipelines, technical tooling.
• Build the agent layer on top. Use LLMs and agents to automate data preprocessing and SOP workflows. Train and fine-tune smaller custom models for repetitive data-processing tasks.
• Maintain and harden what's already in place. When something breaks, you fix it. When something is missing, you build it.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of your workflow.
• Work directly with the operations, finance, and engineering teams to figure out what to build next.

What We're Looking For

• Solid software engineering experience. You have shipped real systems and own them in production.
• Strong Python. Comfortable with data analysis, automation, and the boring parts of building reliable systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLM / agent frameworks and prompt engineering at production quality.
• A portfolio of projects you're proud of. We care about the work, not the credentials.
• High agency — you don't wait to be told what to do.
• Fluent in English.
