Embedded / Firmware Engineer
About the Role
SoC bring-up, sensor drivers, IMU integration, power and charging stack. Comfortable in C/C++ and embedded Linux.
What You'll Do
- Bring up the SoC, write the sensor drivers, and integrate the IMU stack on our head-mounted capture device.
- Own the power and charging path end to end — from battery selection to user-facing power-state behavior.
- Build the firmware that turns raw multimodal sensors (RGB, RGB-D, IMU, stereo, audio) into clean capture streams.
- Partner with the cloud team to make device-side ingest fast, lossless, and observable.
- Debug, instrument, and harden the firmware so the device just works after eight hours on a factory floor.
What We're Looking For
- Strong C/C++ and embedded Linux. You have shipped firmware that runs in production on real hardware.
- Hands-on with SoC bring-up, sensor drivers, IMU integration, and power/charging stacks.
- Bench instinct — comfortable with scopes, logic analyzers, and root-causing flaky hardware.
- High agency — you don't wait to be told what to do.
- Fluent in English.
Why Join Us
You will own the part of the device that you build.
