About the Role

You'll build the platform that connects remote operators to robots anywhere in the world. Video streaming, real-time control, fleet management, and making an operator in Shanghai control a robot in Germany without noticing the latency. Remote teleoperation is fundamentally a web problem—and we need someone who can own it end to end.

What You'll Do

  • Build the remote teleoperation interface: video feeds, robot state visualization, control inputs
  • Implement WebRTC-based video streaming with <100ms latency targets
  • Design fleet management dashboards: robot status, operator assignments, session history
  • Build the control command routing layer: operator inputs → cloud → robot site
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging for production deployments
  • Create admin tools for managing deployments across customer sites
  • Work with embedded engineer on robot-side networking (data formats, protocols)

What We're Looking For

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with React and modern frontend development
  • Build and maintain WebRTC implementations for real-time video/control
  • Implement real-time communication systems using WebSockets (Socket.IO experience is a plus)
  • Understanding of network protocols, latency optimization, UDP vs TCP tradeoffs
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong AWS expertise (EC2, S3, Lambda) or equivalent on GCP/Azure
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana)

Why Join Us

We make robot deployment work like SaaS—browse any robot, deploy with one click. Deploying teleoperation systems for KUKA robots across the world's largest appliance manufacturer. Two founders, building the infrastructure layer for industrial robotics. You'll own the entire platform surface area.
